XXVII Reunión de Briología
A la vista de los acontecimientos que se han venido sucediendo en relación al Covid-19, hemos decidido aplazar la XXVII Reunión de Briología en Viveiro (Lugo, Galicia), a los días 22 a 25 de septiembre de 2020. Las actividades se desarrollarán entre las 9:00 horas del martes 22 y las 15:00 horas del viernes 25. En cualquier caso, estas nuevas fechas quedan también supeditadas al desarrollo de la pandemia y a las normativas que se vayan estableciendo.
La reunión se celebra por la Sociedad Española de Briología en colaboración con la Universidade da Coruña. Tendremos como base para las actividades el Hotel O Val do Naseiro (San Pedro Iglesia, s/n, 27866. Teléfono 982 59 84 34), desde donde tendremos acceso tanto a áreas de montaña costera (Sierra de Capelada, Sierra do Xistral) como a zonas bajas (complejo dunar de Ortigueira, Valle del río Eo en A Pontenova, etc.). Visitaremos una selección de hábitats de interés en el N de las provincias de Lugo y A Coruña, incluyendo bosques galería, fragas atlánticas de Quercus robur, roquedos y acantilados costeros, sistemas dunares y turberas de cobertor.
Si existe un número suficiente de interesados, celebraremos una sesión de presentación de comunicaciones el miércoles 23 por la tarde. La nueva fecha límite de envío de resúmenes será el 3 de septiembre de 2020. La Asamblea General de Socios de la SEB 2020 se celebrará también durante la Reunión.
Los estudiantes y socios en situación de paro que asistan presentando una comunicación tienen la posibilidad de solicitar una pequeña beca para su desplazamiento.

XXVII Bryological Meeting
In view of the events that have been taking place in relation to Covid-19, we have decided to postpone the XXVII Bryological Meeting in Viveiro (Lugo, Galicia), to September 22 to 25, 2020. The activities will take place between 9 h on Tuesday 22 and 15 h on Friday 25. In any case, these new dates are also subject to the development of the pandemic and the regulations that could be established.
The meeting will be organized bySpanish Bryological Society in collaboration with the University of A Coruña. Hotel O Val do Naseiro (San Pedro Iglesia, s / n, 27866. Telephone 982 59 84 34) will be the base for the activities, from where we will have access to both coastal mountain areas (Sierra de Capelada, Sierra do Xistral) and to low areas (Ortigueira dune complex, Eo River Valley in A Pontenova, etc.). We will visit a selection of habitats of interest in the N of the provinces of Lugo and A Coruña, including gallery forests, Atlantic swamps of Quercus robur, rocky and coastal cliffs, dune systems and cover bogs.
If there are a sufficient number of participants, we will hold a scientific session for communications on Wednesday 23 in the afternoon. The new deadline for submission of abstracts will be September 3, 2020. The SEB’s General Assembly 2020 will also be held during the Meeting.
Attending students and unemployed members presenting a communication may request a small grant for their displacement.
