¡Más briófitos legalmente protegidos!
El pasado 14 de septiembre se publico en el Boletín
Oficial de Aragón, el decreto por el que se crea el Listado
Aragonés de Especies Silvestres en Régimen de Protección Oficial y
se regula el Catálogo de Especies Amenazadas de Aragón. Estos
listado y catálogo suponen un gran paso adelante en la protección de
la biodiversidad aragonesa, y los briófitos no se han quedado atrás.
De entre los casi 700 briofitos conocidos en Aragón, 19 especies
figuran en el listado y de ellas, 4 se encuentran también en el
catálogo: Buxbaumia viridis y Riella mediterranea se
encuentran en la categoría de En Peligro de Extincion, Crossidium
aberrans y Riella helicophylla en la categoría de
Vulnerable.

More legally protected bryophytes!
On September 14, the decree creating the Aragonese List of Wild Species in Official Protection Regime and regulating the Catalog of Threatened Species of Aragon was published in the Official Gazette of Aragon. This list and catalog is a great step forward in the protection of Aragonese biodiversity, and bryophytes have not been left behind. Among the almost 700 bryophytes known in Aragon, 19 species are listed and of them, 4 are also in the catalog: Buxbaumia viridis and Riella mediterranea are in the category of Endangered, Crossidium aberrans and Riella helicophylla in the category of Vulnerable.
