La SEB renueva sus cargos
Durante la última Asamblea General celebrada en Aranjuez el 23 de junio, la Sociedad Española de Briología procedió a la renovación parcial de la junta. Los cargos que se renovaron fueron la presidencia y la secretaría que pasaron de Vicente Mazimpaka e Isabel Draper, de la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM), a Patxi Heras y Marta Infante, del Museo de Ciencias Naturales de Álava (de izquierda a derecha en la foto). También se renovó el primer vocal que pasó de Patxi Heras a Belén Estébanez (UAM).
Los nuevos cargos fueron elegidos de manera unánime. La SEB agradeció a Vicente e Isabel sus esfuerzos y dedicación y los nuevos cargos manifestaron su ilusión por continuar con la misión de la Sociedad. La actual constitución de la junta puede consultarse aquí.
El compromiso de Patxi y Marta con la SEB ha sido muy intenso en el pasado, en su largo periodo como tesoreros (1997 a 2003), en la organización de la reunión de Briología de Espinosa de los Monteros en 2008 y en su constante preocupación por esta Sociedad. Les deseamos mucha suerte y esperamos que con el esfuerzo de todos la SEB siga creciendo y afrontando nuevos retos.

Renovation of SEB's Board
During the last General Assembly held in Aranjuez on June 23, the Spanish Society of Briology proceeded to the partial renewal of the board.
The positions that were renewed were the Presidency and the Secretariat that passed from Vicente Mazimpaka and Isabel Draper from the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM) to Patxi Heras and Marta Infante from the Museum of Natural Sciences of Álava (from left to right in the photo). The first chair was also renewed and passed from Patxi Heras to Belén Estébanez (UAM).
The new holders were unanimously elected. SEB thanked Vicente and Isabel for their efforts and dedication, and the new holders expressed their enthusiasm for continuing the mission of the Society. The current constitution of the board can be consulted here.
Patxi and Marta's commitment to SEB has been very intense in the past, in their long period as treasurers (1997 to 2003), in the organization of various Bryological Meeting at Espinosa de los Monteros in 2008 and in their constant concern for this Society. We wish them luck and we hope that with the effort of all members, SEB will continue to grow and face new challenges.
