XXVIII Encuentro de Briología
La Sociedad Española de Briología se complace en anunciar la XXVIII Reunión de Briología. De manera excepcional, este encuentro tendrá lugar en Francia, en el sureste del Macizo Central. Está organizado por Aurélien Labroche, del Conservatorio Botánico Nacional del Macizo Central, y Émeric Sulmont, del Parque Nacional de las Cevenas.
Las actividades de este encuentro comenzarán a las 8:30 h del martes 2 de junio y finalizarán a las 17:00 h del viernes 5 de junio.
La sede de la reunión es la encantadora aldea histórica de Mont Lozère, Le Pouget (48800 Pourcharesses, Lozère), donde dos casas rurales acogerán al grupo.
Desde aquí, el grupo podrá acceder a una gran diversidad de espacios naturales, desde las areniscas de las Cévennes Ardéchoises, el paisaje granítico del Mont Lozère, los paisajes kársticos del bosque de Païolive, las cuevas y altos acantilados de las gargantas de Chassezac, hasta los pantanos y marismas del Plateau Ardéchois, los flujos de basalto y otras rocas volcánicas de Mezenc... El programa, que aún no está cerrado, se adaptará a las condiciones meteorológicas, día a día. Cada jornada estará dedicada a un contexto original y a una especie emblemática del Macizo Central.
Ya no hay plazas disponibles para inscribirse en este encuentro.
Además, si hay un número suficiente de participantes interesados, se dedicará una sesión a la presentación de comunicaciones. Para conocer el número de personas interesadas, os pedimos que enviéis título y resumen del trabajo antes del 15 de abril a belen.albertos@uv.es. Los estudiantes y los desempleados que asistan y presenten una comunicación pueden solicitar una pequeña beca para su desplazamiento.

XXVIII Bryological Meeting
The Spanish Society of Bryology is pleased to announce the XXVIII Bryological Meeting. Just this once, this meeting will take place in France, in the south-east of the Massif Central. It is organised by Aurélien Labroche from the National Botanical Conservatory of the Massif Central and Émeric Sulmont from the Cévennes National Park.
The activities of this meeting will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday 2nd June and end at 5:00 p.m. on Friday 5th June.
The group will stay in the charming historic hamlet of Le Pouget, on Mont Lozère (48800 Pourcharesses, Lozère), where two cottages will welcome the participants.
From there, the group will be able to access a great diversity of natural areas, from the sandstone landscapes of the Cévennes Ardéchoises and the granite scenery of Mont Lozère, to the karstic landscapes of the Païolive forest, the caves and high cliffs of the Chassezac gorges, the bogs and marshes of the Plateau Ardéchois, and the basalt flows and other volcanic rocks of Mezenc. The programme, which has not yet been finalised, will be adapted day by day to the weather conditions. Each day will focus on a distinctive environment and an emblematic species of the Massif Central.

Moreover, we would like to remind you that, if there is a sufficient number of interested participants, a session will be dedicated to communications. Therefore, in order to know how many people are interested, we ask you to send the title and abstract of your paper before April 15th to belen.albertos@uv.es. Students and unemployed members attending the meeting and presenting a communication may request a small grant to help cover their travel expenses.
